Jennifer Caroline, a daughter, sister to five older siblings. Blessed with a high degree of intellect, remarkably gifted with acting abilities and a great sense of humor; a communicator to all ages; a loving and delightful person to know before the influence of drugs.
Jenny was a person who knew the true meaning of "friend". As one of them wrote to us, "I remember being invited to JC's apartment in Van Nuys..."
When we came to her place, I remember this overwhelming feeling of comfort and warmth.
JC was like a magnet who attracted people from all walks of life. So many different races and diversity gathered together in one place. All learning from one another - sharing ideas, debating with all differences aside.
She was so genuine that energy somehow just flowed through her. "She will be missed by so many...an extremely divine soul..."
How could our beautiful daughter be so duped? We'll never understand. Jenny was a person who wanted to make a mark in the world by helping others less fortunate. A leader.
Well perhaps she is fulfilling her desire to help by being an example to young people of what can happen through choices.
As another friend said,
"In the beginning it was someone else's choice
Then it was JC's choice
After that it was the Drug's choice
Then, she no longer had a choice."
Jennifer Caroline - our daughter - one of the hordes of young people lost to the insidious scourge of drugs. Always it seems to be the most beautiful, gifted persons who would have given so much to the world. WHY?
